I have always been strangly drawn to the American Pit Bull Terrier, however never met one that really felt like I could call my own. One day I came across some and instantly fell in love with my girl. As I dont have any children she has really become my baby. She is slowly getting more and more admirers through her amazing personality and temperament...thankyou to wonderful breeding from her parents owners.

One constant however that has really becoming an upsetting daily problem for me is the disgusting generalisations about the breed. "A child got attacked and killed today...MUST have been a pitbull". " A dog got attacked and killed today...MUST have been a pitbull". "Only pitbulls attack for no reason...they should be BANNED". Most of these generalisations come from people who do not know or understand the breed. The biggest problem for our beloved babies is that ALL attacks that happen where the dog even remotely resemble an American Pit Bull are spectacularized in the media. The really sad thing about it...a lot of the time it isnt a Pit Bull. The Pit Bull is like any other dog...if trained to be aggresive they will be. My girl has never been trained in this way and therefore doesnt have an aggresive nature at all. I have no hesitation in letting her near my cousins 10 month old baby. They absolutely adore each other.

I guess what Im trying to do with this website (like so many before me) is show our special breed in the light they need to be seen in. If you dont know about the "pitty" find someone who does have one and get to know it. If you dont...contact me. Im more than happy to have people meet my girl to dispell the "Pit Bulls are murderers" myth.
